your parents love you, the lord loves you. they all love you as long as you love them. love, religion, or other cheap fancy words you want to use. it's just the order, the order which they suffered from and have got used to and feel safe within. now they'll protect it with love. so don't you ever try to break the order, demon. why can't you just play the same game with us, if we all made it?

最近看得最好的是这一部《橘子不是唯一的水果》，1990年BBC拍的。改编自同名原著小说。
女主Jess有一头橘色的头发，从小被收养。养母是一个极端宗教狂热教徒，梦想是把Jess培养成传教士。Jess很小就在教堂度过，没有同龄的朋友，跟她关系好的朋友，是同教堂里小镇上头发花白年纪很大的Elsie，老人亲切温暖。
Jess是女同，在市场邂逅她的第一个女孩Melanie。显然是不被接受的，母亲与神父沆瀣一气扼杀了这段爱情
